Laura Greenfield and Ember try their first Advanced courses and get 2 legs in Georgetown! Nicely done! A lab heeling past food bowls? YES, it can be done!
   

The Teams did awesomely also. Congrats to Team Black & Tan (Trooper and Hannah) on their Advanced Team title and to the new combination of Ember and Winchester, who at age 9 came out of retirement to help Ember with her first try at Novice Team. 
   


Banner and Ariss clean up at the March 2011 CARO trial in Georgetown with Ariss taking his Novice title in 3 rounds and an HIT thanks to a perfect score plus a Novice leg and Judges Pick Award for Wolfhound Banner. Huge congrats to Ewa Boldok and her boys! Look out Cali - they're catching up to your stardom!
   


A great final round of Novice for Ember for her title at SuperDog Central November 5,2010. Congrats to Laura and Ember!


A successful Rally Obedience Day for DogSmart dogs! L to R Ember and Beans get first place in Novice A and Novice B respectively. Novice title for Beans! Another first place for Ember! Jersey goes for her final Advanced leg. Trooper gets his Excellent title after (finally!) nailing the weavepoles.
         


Rescued Malinois Storm finds 7' in Iron Dog Extreme Vertical at the 2010 Dock Dogs Nationals (Oct 2010) and below, Ember and Laura Greenfield at their first Nationals in their first year of competition. Ember just barely missed the finals in Express Speed Retrieve.
   

Who says Wolfhounds (or goats!) can't do Obedience?!!
A message from a student:
Hi Karin
You'd be so proud of Cali - we had a rally demo last Monday at our Mid-Canada Irish Wolfhound Club show in Thunder Bay and my breeder of course volunteered Cali and I to participate. A real deal CARO Novice course was set up with 20 stations, and Cali did it perfectly and off leash to everybody's enjoyment, outperforming even the trainer's Golden Retriever which was a bit distracted by the outdoor setting. I'll send you pix when I get them.

You'd be also proud of me - I was "volunteered" for "So you think you're a handler, eh?" competition, and my "surprise" to handle was a goat! Luckily, my goat was very food motivated so between using goat bait and implementing rally training tips and tricks, the goat and I did just fine... :)

Storm was smokin' in Frankenmuth MI May 29 and 30, 2010. She was 1st in Extreme Vertical with a jump of 7' (pictured) and 2nd in Big Air and Speed Retrieve for a final Iron Dog placing of 2nd.
     


Onto CKC Rally....Huge kudos to Theresa and Bugsy, Brenda and Hannah (with a perfect 100!) and Ewa and Cali for their most excellent results (& titles!!) in Belleville March 13-14/2010! 





CARO Rally Feb 27/10 Congrats to Cali and Ewa on 2 Novice Qs, Theresa and Bugsy on their Versatility title, Theresa and Rue on their Excellent title, Brenda and Hannah on their Excellent title and Novice Team and Trooper and I with Novice Team. Whew!

Storm wins 2nd in Senior Big Air at Dock Dogs Nationals in Ohio October 2009!



First Place in Iron Dog! Storm's first National Iron Dog event ever and she won! First in Big Air, First in Speed Retrieve and 2nd in Extreme Vertical.
